This is just a regular list of supplements you can find in the world of fitness. And yes I have to agree with you, some of them do sound like something out of a chemistry class. I have to say I was more than sceptical to start using some of these.

As I am writing this I actually keep finding new ones that I have never heard before. So, as much as I consider myself quite knowledgeable in this area, clearly more research and trial is in order.

But I did dig in and, over the course of the last 4 years, some grew on me, some are more of a “specific need” supplement and the reason for others to exist is purely business and marketing (with poor or no proven results).

But that’s what it is these days. We take a pill for this, supplement for that…

Let’s have a look at some of these so you can decide for yourself. Are they beneficial to you or should you put them back on the shelf and save a few £££?
